In the UK, each city has a different way of sorting its waste, which is generally divided into Food, General and Recycling.

Recycling waste

Some communities will give citizens garbage cans or clear recycling sacks free of charge, Used for recycling plastic bottles (excluding bottle caps) and spray bottles. (spray bottles for kitchen cleaning or laundry), skin care bottles, beverage bottles, milk bottles, etc. generally, bottle caps, plastic films, preservative films, plastic bags, plastic food trays, plastic toys and yogurt boxes cannot be recycled. In addition, before putting them into recycling barrels or bags, be sure to pour out the liquid in the plastic bottles, and it is best to rinse them. The outer packaging can not be torn, but the bottle caps To remove, in order to save space, squeeze the plastic bottle and put it in.
There are usually two recycling methods for small electrical appliances such as electric kettle, hair dryer, electric toothbrush, iron, alarm clock, electric toys, mobile phone and desk lamp, One kind of street will have a recycling bank with pink. Just put these items through the mouth of the recycling bin; in some places, citizens may be required to put unwanted electrical appliances in plastic bags and then put them next to the trash can, so that they can be taken away together when collecting garbage [1].

Batteries waste

Electrical batteries and watch batteries can be recycled. Generally, battery bins are available in places where batteries are sold or in some supermarkets. Citizens can go to the official website of recycle now to check the battery recycling points close to them. Waste batteries cannot be thrown into ordinary garbage cans. Waste batteries contain a lot of heavy metals and toxic chemical wastes; Their random discarding will cause serious soil pollution and water pollution.
